Remember those songs that always made you smile?

Songs that always made you want to dance, even if it was just a little? That made you want to sing along, even if you only knew some of the words?

Those songs that we all knew...that we all grew up with...the songs that helped shape a generation....

We're KMLS - the FM radio ready classic rock band - and we love to play those songs.....and we want to play them....for you!!!

John Cross

Powerhouse singer, songwriter and artist extraordinaire... whether he is busy designing intricate guitar wraps for the multifaceted Graphic Design/Music Production firm, Scary Creative or behind the mic, singing live with KMLS or recording original compositions, John's artistic talents are manifested in every aspect of his life.

John began his musical career at the tender age of three and has been singing, playing guitar, bass, keyboards and writing music ever since. He started his first band when he was seventeen, an 8-piece R&B group and in the years since, he has headed more than thirty bands of varying genres. He moved to Los Angeles to pursue a recording career and along the way paid the bills working at many major graphic design firms before ultimately founding his own (Scary Creative).

Paul Rosenthal

Born in the east, raised in the west (Africa that is) and now is in the middle of doing what he does best... play guitar. With influences from Buddy Guy, Santana, Dickie Betts and Jimmy Page to Jimi Hendrix, Wes Montgomery, Ali Farka Toure and Jimmy Nolen, Paul plays a blend of rock, soul and blues like no one else.

He's traded licks with the likes of ZZ Top's Billy Gibbons and Robben Ford. He's also shared the stage with James Brown, Scotty Moore of the original Elvis Presley band, Johnny Lang, and Keb Mo. He's composed music for movies and television and written theme songs for TV shows like ABC's Supernanny, World's Strictest Parents, It's Me or the Dog and America's Supernanny. Paul is a Gemini and enjoys walks on the beach...

Pat Wilkins

Originally from France, bass guitarist Pat Wilkins developed his chops in Washington D.C., where he made his first record with the progressive rock band Handelscamp. Before moving to California, Pat also played for the band Spats, which featured Mike Zack (of Nils Lofgrin/Bruce Springsteen's E Street Band fame).

Pat has performed in various bands at many of the top music clubs in the LA area, including The Roxy and The Troubadour. His list of bands include The Convertibles, Scarlett, .45 and Appliance.

Pat also manufactures his own line of guitars and basses (Wilkins Guitars) which are played by many top level recording and live performing artists. Of course Pat performs with Wilkins basses, and is endorsed by Sennheiser microphones.

Paul Kristan

Paul has been an established drummer in the Los Angeles music scene for over 21 years. Originally from Wallingford, CT, he began banging on shoe boxes, coffee cans and mops as a child. A musical family of diverse tastes surrounded him with a variety of influences from the Beatles to Bach to Brubeck. Lessons with local teaching icon Ray Kenny prepared him for later study with jazz great Ed Soph and an education at the Berklee College of Music in Boston.

He has performed with a wide array of musicians in varied situations including tours/dates with Kilauea, Pretzel Logic, the Bruce Fowler Big Band, recording sessions for Universal (Leatherheads, Public Enemies), Disney (Cow Belles, Garfield Gets Real, Casper the Ghost), films composer Christopher Ypung (WonderBoys), numerous jungles and recording sessions for the Fox/ABC Family Channel. Paul took over the drum chair (okay, throne) in KMLS a few years ago and doubles as assistant wise ass.
