BIO: MULTIBEAT RECORDS

Multibeat Records, the music label, was started in Austria in 2000 to provide an outlet for leading-edge Canadian electronic music.

Specializing in music that searches out new territory, the focus and interest rests on: Canadian electronic artists, health/wellness sector products, world music, new genres, leading-edge musical developments, sound art, new jazz developments, contemporary classical (new music) activity, art, culture.

The label is currently based in Huntsville, Muskoka, Ontario, Canada. As well as mail order, our records are also for sale with CD Baby, and therefore Tower Records, Best Buy, and the iTunes Store. We are currently in dialogue with reliable Canadian and foreign distributors of compact discs and merchandise, to arrive at some long-term agreements.

Currently, the label is operating an online distribution channel, selling music and merch from multibeatrecords.com. Our roster includes: KARL MOHR, BLUE VISIONS, DROID CHARGE, EPHEMERAL GREEN, LAUGH OUT LOUD.
