Leif is a singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. His melody lines can be complex yet highly accessible, often building from a simple chord progression strummed on an acoustic guitar and ultimately rolling into something much grander filled with lush orchestration and dynamic counterpoint harmonies.

Leif’s ear was classically trained on the violin but his penchant for creating original music eventually led him to heart-pumping rock ‘n roll. Originally from New Jersey, Leif moved to the San Francisco Bay Area in 1999.

Since going solo, Leif has released three records to date: Black Scott of the Mountain (1999), Garfield Park (2001) and All’s Well That Ends Well (2002).

Leif sings, plays acoustic and electric guitars, bass, piano, violin and drums on the upcoming album.
