The Kid Wezel Story

Kid Wezel is the stage name for Louise Peacock. She is a Canadian singer/songwriter who writes in the styles of Blues; Jazz; Folk; Country; and Pop.

Her musical influences range from Classical to present day pop, and include composers and artists such as Beethoven, Bach, Wagner, Miles Davis, Freddy McDowell, Nat King Cole, Sarah Vaughn, Ella Fitzgerald, Bonnie Rait, Joni Mitchell, Gordon Lightfoot, Billy Joel, Beatles, Everyley Brothers, Mills Brothers, Ray Charles, and many more.

Kid Wezel writes about things that happen in life - to her and to other people. She never knows what will be the next song ... she is not a formula writer and has therefore been rejected by Nashville as "Not our style"!

Kid Wezel writes to please herself, but if something she writes makes someone happy, then she feels really good.
