"Melodic, gracefully harmonized" - The New York Times, in a review of Kenneth LaFave's music.

Kenneth LaFave has composed music for The Phoenix Symphony, the Chicago String Quartet, the Phoenix Chorale, the Tucson Symphony Orchestra, and Close Encounters with Music. His opera, "American Gothic," was premiered by Arizona State University. Upcoming projects include a clarinet concerto and songs based on the Psalms, co-written with country singer-songwriter Jessi Colter. Kenneth studied film scoring at NYU's ASCAP film scoring workshop, and composition with Pulitzer Prize-winner Ned Rorem.

Kenneth's music combines the sonic beauty of classical music with a strong rhythmic profile and melodic invention.
