Inkplot was created to bring to life the music of Victory Mori, who had by the time of forming Inkplot finished one rock opera and was underway on another. The album, Almost Someone, is material from the first rock opera, which showcases not only Mori’s innovative lyrical and compositional style, but also the musical virtuosity of each of Inkplot’s members. While the songs are clearly out of and above the ordinary, they are hook-oriented and very catchy with broad commercial appeal.
