Bio
the HISTORY
Since the age of two, Crystal performed. Her musical background began in the Baptist Church where she was the lead soprano. Her love for performing and her desire to be the best led her to pursue a musical theatre degree. While in college getting her BFA, she wrote, produced, and performed her self-titled CD “Crystal”. In between dance classes, theatrical training, and vocal studies, she promoted her CD throughout her region by performing in various venues. It was through her live performances that her song “Feels so Good” gained momentum and DJs in 16 states began playing it. Due to the air play her CD received, she performed as a featured performer at several area concerts.
After the success of her first CD, Crystal made the decision to move to Los Angeles where she was immediately offered a production deal. However, Crystal opted to take some time to develop her writing skills and find her own sound. That time is paying off.

Crystal is a spiritually centered individual, and her music can't help but reflect her conscious vibe for life. With her roots in the church, Crystal has maintained a presence in gospel music as well as the Neo-soul/Pop arena. The music you will hear from Crystal, whether in her solo or gospel projects, will always maintain the dignity of her Christian beliefs. It is this foundation that spurs her on to create music that is uplifting and encouraging to all who hear it.

Crystal’s current endeavors include completing her sophomore album, while building a business team (Representation and/or Record Company) that can take her career to the next level, and her music to a larger audience.
