James Dixon in a nutshell

James Dixon (now 30) was born and mostly raised in Alberta, Canada. He began playing guitar and singing at the age of seven with his family band (The country clan); who travelled and performed extensively throughout western Canada and parts of the United States. At the age of thirteen James realized that there were other styles of music out there and began expanding his musical abilities.
Although, he has a great love for performing, James now spends his time in his studio writing and recording; that is, when he is not hanging out with his wife and two children.

James' main focus as a singer/songwriter is to write music that will inspire people. James knows that music has the ability to change peoples lives for the better, and wants to contribute all he can in that process. He also says that it wouldn't hurt if he was able to make a dollar or two along the way.
