Started playing guitar at the age of 16, learned to play bass, keyboards and started to write songs by the age of 18. Launched his first funk / pop band "Thats Right", played many top gigs including London`s Astoria and Rock City in Nottingham. That`s Right also appeared on Sky TV and had a big following across the Midlands. Formed electro / soul recording project "Revamp" who was featured on BBC 2`s "Dance Energy" Presented by Normski. Entered into a new recording / live venture with Lou Dalgleish band, which led to recording at Central TV in Birmingham. Songs were also performed at the Seoul Olyimpic`s plus Birmingham`s NEC supporting Wet Wet Wet and many top Venues across the UK / Europe. Neil also ventured into sound design work on the Korg M1, which led him to design new dance sounds on Technic`s WSA1 Synthersizer in the UK / Japan. Session work has also recently been high on the agender working with dance producer Jeremy Sylvester and dj deciple from New York. Blue Atom is his latest self produced / played quest , which has already enjoyed radio and club success. Blue Atom alias, Neil Price created Blue Atom straight out of his digital recording studio and within weeks of recording his first track," Listen to the music" found himself on the radio being voted number one by the listening public.His second track "She`s a Lady" soon led to more radio airplay on the Ben Turner show and won more votes from his admiring fans. Blue Atom has also played on dj decilpes track`s" Lift me","I get high" and" Latin love" which have been played in all the big clubs around the world including Moneypenny`s in Birmingham UK. Another producer he`s worked with is Jeremy Sylvester who has his own label "Urban Dubz" is very big on the club scene. You can judge for yourself why Blue Atom is creating a stir within the dance scene in the UK. "Let`s Get it right" is his latest hot dance track which is also being aired on the radio.
