The World Record is a collection of young undesirables under the egomaniacal control of Andy Creighton, whose main motivating forces are fear and lust for glory. Based in Los Angeles, they embark on their first regional tour in the summer of '04, to support the upcoming self-released "Guitars Forever". Mr Creighton has also been sent ahead by the boys to play some late April dates in the Midwest, in preparation for a fall tour there.

The band is primarily influenced by the likes of XTC, Ben Folds Five, Elliot Smith, Jellyfish, They Might Be Giants, etc. So you may find their tunes simultaneously melodic, catchy, quirky, and charming. YOU BE THE JUDGE.
