Thomas J. Calanni (Composer)

Throughout his three-decade career in composing and recording, Calanni has continued to paint vivid pictures with his music. His palette of differing musical styles infuses passion into each original melody he creates. As a music major at Kent State University, Calanni first began his career writing music for the university's radio and television station. Now in the recording studio, he can be found creating music CDs for radio and TV, commercial jingles for national companies, music beds for PBS specials, and original scores for film. As an Honorable Mention Winner in the 2001 "John Lennon Songwriting Competition", he received recognition for his composition entitled "Baby Oscar's Song". From the film score in the farcical movie, "Galactic Ninjas", to the three emotional love songs in the film, "Blue Fire", Calanni's musical versatility is always evident.
