I wrote this song in response to a challenge to write something to pitch to female pop singers like Jewel and Avril. I think the song is on the money. I believe the recording would need to be transposed and rerecorded with a female singer to be ready for

The protagonist experiences a role reversal in the song. If it were sung by a sexy young pop-singer, one can imagine them being desired by someone who they don't notice until that person smiles. Then everything changes, as things often do in relationships
