I woke up this morning when the sun came up and said this prayer to the sky up above

Army's of god on the Jordan shores protecting their homes both wanting more

Such a strange land the lord once touched, in two thousands years, it hasn't changed that much

Betrayed by a kiss, hung on a cross, for the truth he spoke his life it cost
Words love and peace misconstrued some how, they didn't see then and they don't see now

Desert sand, bodies and blood, tell me where's your peace, where's your love
The life that you lead was it all in vain
Is this what you expected after came

I laid down this evening when the sun went down and said this prayer as I knelt on the ground. Lord oh lord when will it end, a million wars a million sins,
I hope your coming back cause its been a long time, I wouldn't blame you much if you changed your mind
