Song Description

Written on the piano. A musical piece the ebbs and flows and builds to pure drama. You can hear the wind up mechanical toys marching and the gentleness of the full moon. Dramatic Instrumentals building vocals and a softness. This is a fantastical piece that is unique and dramatic and beautiful all at once.

Story Behind the Song

My son is sitting with the iPad outside there is a beautiful moon rising I want him to come for a walk with me but he is in his technology He doesn't believe in magic he says its all tricks and illusion he is a scientist by the age of 8 but i am a dreamer and the magic is in the gasp of the beholder not in the technicality of the trick I want him to put his iPad down and look at the moon and the plants and the toys and the beautiful earth that surrounds us

Lyrics

He beckoned to the light of the silvery moon
and
all the mechanical toys
were dreaming
for the girls and boys
who
didnt believe
couldn't belive
wouldn't believe
in magic
by the silvery moon
