Story Behind The Song
From the frustration that I had from being in the middle of a car accident that left my spine deformed, and left me in constant pain, I decided to vent by telling the story and setting it to music. Originally, the song was to end after the second chorus, but I added the "reggae" feel to show how I felt after being sedated to deal with the pain, and the final slower chorus is the hint of optimism that I later felt after writing the song.
Song Description
Everyday - the upbeat music is deceiving to the dark and depressing tale of physical pain that most of the world endures on a daily basis. There are hints of optimism, but mostly the tale is one of defeat.

Lyrics
Everyday I struggle through this pain
I try not to think about it
Everyday I wake up and feel the same
And nothing has changed, not one bit
Deformation, where's my medication?
I am worn, I am torn
And I'll never get back to the same
I'm compressed, I'm depressed
But I'm trying to harbour my pain
Everyday I wake up with the sun
I hope that today will be the last
I try to think back to when this all began
But the pills I take, they blur my past
Deformation, this is my resignation
I am worn, I am torn
And I'll never get back to the same
I'm compressed, I'm depressed
But I'm trying to harbour my pain
Drinking eases the soul (Everyday)
Fills up my empty hole (Everyday)
Gonna hurt one last time (Everyday)
This heavy burden is all mine (Everyday)
Gonna make it if I try (woah-oh-oh)
Grit my teeth and close my eyes (woah-oh-oh)
Everyday I'm asking why (woah-oh-oh)
Everyday I still ask why
I am worn, I am torn
And I'll never get back to the same
I'm compressed, I'm depressed
But I'm trying to harbour my pain
(everyday I still ask why) everyday
