Story Behind The Song
I researched the correlation between Country Music fans and Nascar fans. I thought that writing an uptempo rock-country song with a progressive sound would be commercial.
Song Description
I envisioned this song as a music video.
A country boy enters his beat up looking car in the Indy 500. The Nascar drivers laugh at him.
He goes on to win the race.

Lyrics
Country Racing Son of A Gun
When I was just a boy down in Kentucky
I'd run moonshine out of Tennessee
I had a 350 Chevy with four on the floor
The Sheriff tried to catch me but I blew off his doors
Chorus:
I'll drive a Nascar an Indy car a Formula 1
I'm a Country Racing Son of A Gun
Put me out on the track I'll go round and round
And I wont stop when the sun goes down
I pulled my Chevy into Talladega
Them Nascar boys they were laughing it up
Till I took the pole position in a track record time
Now those Nascar boys they are eating my dust
Repeat Chorus:
Bridge:( Rock Guitar) optional
I entered my Chevy in the Indy 500
Them Indy Car (Nascar) boys they were laughing it up
Till I took the checkerd flag and a bundle of cash
A big old trophy and a milk mustache
Repeat Chorus:
This song would work well in the current film project by Will Ferell
it will tentatively be called "Talladega Nights", a comedy with a Nascar theme; directed by Adam Mckay. Columbia Pictures
