Story Behind The Song

This tune was one of a dozen we did for our album project -it was based around a bass and drums riff that lent itself to a hip guitar riff and an edgy sounding fender lead sound. The title evolved from emails between the band -this was the tenth track to have guitars added and the title of the email heralding the songs birth 'A whiff of track ten' - from then on we called it 'Sniff the ten' - because it sounded naughty and made us snigger like schoolboys.

Song Description

A cool, edgy guitar instrumental that has two or three distinct moods, a build up, a climax and a slightly odd guitar solo. Sounds like a hip version of something The Shadows might have done if they'd had big amps, long raincoats and rock inclinations.
