Story Behind The Song
This song is a tribute to/send-up of Lemmy Kilmister, of the greatest rock and roll band in the world--Motorhead. I actually wrote it after hearing a fake Motorhead song that Ween did (I think it's called Cat Fight) and I had meant it to be tongue-in-cheek. However, after I recorded it I realized that it didn't really sound as ironic or sarcastic as I had intended--which is fine, except that I think people take it seriously which is pretty ridiculous for anyone who actually knows me, and how un-Lemmy-like I am. Nevertheless, this is the song people cite most often when calling us a "punk" band.

Lyrics
Cigarettes and morphine
A bottle of booze is what I need
Fast car, switch blade
I think you better get out of my way
Live fast, die young
Get drunk, too much fun
Early grave, that's o.k.
I don't wanna live forever
Satan is a friend of mine
Taste the whip, it'll drive you blind
I spill some blood to get what I need
Yours or mine, it don't matter much to me
Live fast, die young
Take drugs, buy a gun
Night in jail, that's o.k.
I don't wanna live forever
Cigarettes and morphine
A feral woman is what I need
You see us comin get out of our way
You're goin down, that's where you're gonna stay
Live fast, die young
Get drunk, too much fun
Early grave, that's o.k.
I don't wanna live forever
