Story Behind The Song
A friend of mine thought that he could hot knife a 1/2 teen rock of cocaine. Hey dropped to the floor, and began convulsing. I was laughing until I saw the blood coming out of his ears. I dialed 911 and then proceeded to clean up the evidence. I left him there on the floor that day, and it has haunted me ever since. I didn't want to know the truth about what happened that day. But the truth eventually found me. That day I witnessed the worse kind of suicide. And I'm ashamed to say that I just sat there and watched him do it to himself. The words he said right before he made the biggest mistake of his life were, "I'll take my chances, I've got nothing to lose!"

(VERSE)
I am young, I?m not afraid to die.
I?ve been this way since I was a child.
Life ain?t sweet, but I will survive.
Walking the edge of a thin red line.
(PRE-CHORUS)
And I don?t mind to walk the edge.
Live my life hanging by a thread.
I?ll take my chances; I have nothing to lose.
I live my life the way I want to.
(CHORUS)
And that?s life. Life in the making.
Life, Life in the making.
(VERSE)
I?m like a train running off the tracks.
Quick is the speed, and there?s no turning back.
Ride it out, let the wheels roll.
Quick is the speed that?s cause it?s out of control
(PRE-CHORUS)
And I don?t mind to walk the edge.
Live my life hanging by a thread.
I?ll take my chances; I have nothing to lose.
I live my life the way I want to.
(CHORUS)
And that?s life. Life in the making.
Life, Life in the making.
(INSTERMENTAL BREAK)
(PRE-CHORUS)
And I don?t mind to walk the edge.
Live my life hanging by a thread.
I?ll take my chances; I have nothing to lose.
I live my life the way I want to.
(CHORUS)
And that?s life. Life in the making.
Life, Life in the making.
