Story Behind The Song
This song was written for a family wedding. The family is all made up of professional photographers. All our lives we had our pictures taken so we always heard, take a picture., lets take a picture, come on everyone lets take a picture of this, outside everyone, lets take pictures, did you take a picture of it?I hope you took pictures. So, it seemed perfect to write a song about taking a picture of the moment the heart found love.
The couple the song was written about own a boat so we added that they meet on the ocean.
Song Description
The song is about a ship captain on his boat and it was taken away from the awning with a powerful wind of love when he see his mate looking at him from the shore. Together they board the ship and sail away to get married. This moment was so powerful that a picture should be taken to capture that moment that their hearts were falling in love.

Lyrics
Take A Picture of This
Verse 1
Tied up on the moorings
unsure my ship would sail,
the wind and rain came pouring
it was another gusty gale
but this one stripped the anchor,
and set my ship to sea
where I saw the silver lining
that set my spirit free
Chorus
That's when my heart took a picture of this
a moment alone is a moment of bliss;
trusting myself, nobody else
here behind the wheel;
Sailing away on the edge of the night
I feel like a kid letting go of a kite
Just like a kiss, it shouldn't be missed
take a picture of this
Verse 2
With a guiding light around me
a trust I'd never known before
here the skies are blue, I've made it through
to see you standing on the shore.
Now my ship is sailing closer
and you're waiting there to board,
take my hand and here we'll stand
alone we'll be no more
Bridge
Out in the ocean we're out in the open and free
here on the bow, saying our vows you and me.
