Story Behind The Song
Relationship ending and getting ready to move out of living with someone. Looking around room and came up with a cool riff / groove that kept ending with the words, "well anyway"
Song Description
It's a cry for help from someone who feels isolated and lost, who has cut himself off from other people. He doesn't know how to get out of the situation and feels the hopelessness of that. As the walls around him begin to break apart, he frightened about what's behind them. In the end they come crashing down in a musical cacophony.

Lyrics
Is there anywhere, is there anywhere I can go
Near or far away
Is there anyone, is there anyone I don't know
To get me through the day...well, anyway
I've been giving in, I've been living in this old room
I decorate with doubt
I've been holding on, I've been holding in hoping soon
Someone will let me out
Cause I feel so cold and I hear no sound
And I fear these walls are coming down
I've been breaking down, I've been breaking up with myself
Day after day
I've been shutting down, I've been shutting up but it's just as well
I wouldn't know what to say...well anyway
Cause I feel so cold and I hear no sound
And I fear these walls are coming down
I feel these eyes are watching me, I wish they'd look away
'cause they can see me hiding in the easy way
Am I just my actions am I just the words I say
Or am I more, am I more?
Cause I feel so cold and I hear no sound
And I fear these walls are coming down
