Lyrics
I've been waiting here for you for some time, for some time.
Contemplating tears so you will stay mine, for some time
But I know you'll let me down easy
and I know you hope I don't cry
and I know that you have to leave me
but for the moment, there is still you and I
I've been floating in a daze for some time, for some time
I've been searching for some way to change your mind, for some time
but I know it's never that easy
and I know I'm wasting your time
and I know you have to leave me
but for the moment, there is still you and I
Helpless and hopeless I walk through the cold
and bury my face in my hands
Crying to no one, "this never was part of my plan"
Frozen and scattered, I'm broken and shattered
and drifting in every way
Oh how I wish you could see what you're throwing away
But I know you'll let me down easy
and I know you hope I don't cry
and I know you have to leave me
but for the moment, there is still you and I
For the moment, there is still you and I
