Story Behind The Song
I was walking around in my hometown of new york city, and bumped into a woman i had know from college who had in the past made me feel terrible on SEVERAL different occasions. Seeing her this time, however, was electric and it made me feel so high that I had to capture it before it went away or befeore she did something to ruin it. Sure enough, she ended up ruining it several months later, but that day, I started singing the line " I can taste the light of a thousand people, a thousand worlds shining on my hands..." I brought that line and that melody to Rob who already had a guitar riff which fit perfectly, and "Breathe Again" was born.

Lyrics
VERSE
Oh, back home, people seem to care.
Oh, back home, they throw kindness in the air.
But at home, there is envy in a smile.
Yes, at home, they love you for a while.
VERSE
I am climbing, rising up from down below.
I am winding through the rocks I can?t let go.
I am standing on this summit and I find
That I found the world when I left my home behind.
CHORUS
And I can taste the light of a thousand people,
A thousand worlds shining on my hands,
And I see the world from a better view
And I understand the home in who I am
And I can breathe again.
VERSE
I am watching as my child?s child is born.
One will enter as another one is torn.
Oh, I thought I lost myself when you were gone,
But I move this child?s hands and the world moves on.
CHORUS
...And I see my life from a younger eye
BRIDGE
Oh, I can let the world go. Oh, I can let the world stay.
I can take the world away.
VERSE
Walking blindly, I see you by surprise.
Talking kindly, you answer all my cries.
You restore me ?cause it seems you always knew
That you want me in your world as much as I want you.
CHORUS
