Story Behind The Song
As my friend Scott Springer lay dying in the hospital, I wondered if I were to right a song about what he was feeling at that time what words he would say. These words just fell out. He used his 18-month cancer battle as an opportunity to give to others the best gift he could offer -- the news about Jesus. He is in heaven, and his legacy lives on through this song.
Song Description
Don't be mad at God because I'm dying. Praise Him even when you can barely breathe. Celebrate with me that I'm going to heaven, and I will see you there, right?

Lyrics
Celebrate with Me
Words and music by Terry Sue Crawford

When all is said and done, and the good Lord calls me home
Don?t cry bitter tears
Everything is perfect, just the way it?s meant to be
I?ve done all the Lord has asked of me
(chorus 1)
Praised His name when I could barely breathe
Shown His grace to those who don?t believe
I?ve been blessed with love, and timeless memories
Soon I?ll be in paradise
Celebrate with me
By His hand we?re given life and by His hand we die
This I always knew
I have no regrets, I only hope my life
Has been a light that shows what God can do
(chorus 1)
Praised His name when I could barely breathe
Shown His grace to those who don?t believe
I?ve been blessed with love, and timeless memories
Soon I?ll be in paradise
Celebrate with me
(bridge)
Celebrate the life He gave to me
And let Him make yours all that it can be
(chorus 2)
Praise His name with every word you breathe
Show His grace even as you grieve
Show the world His Love, unconditionally
One day you?ll see paradise
Celebrate with me
Someday you?ll see paradise
I?ll see you in paradise
Celebrate with me
