This song was recorded at Ardent Studios in Memphis. It was a one take (originally for a demo tape) analog taped recording on a grand acoustic. Except for the eq done at MasterMix in Nashville, and the faded ending as noted above, what you here is the way it was played live.

This song was originally close to six minutes long and actually has a nice non-fade ending. The fade was added to shorten the length while preserving the original recording.
