Story Behind The Song
I was 19 years old
I was appearing nightly in the original cast of Hair on Broadway
Being a west coast transplant I lived in a hotel doubled up with other cast members from out of town.
To escape the noise and craziness (it was still the 60's)I hid in a stair well with my guitar until way past 4:00 in the morning. There was a great echo in their
anyway I came out with this song. I was young and stupid but I had a song in my heart.
Song Description
I chose a biblical reference for this love song

Lyrics
40 days and 40 nights of rain
lately theres no place inside to hide the pain.
My ship is laden down
with the weight of my world
and theres no hope in sight without you girl.
The winds that tossed the clouds around my mind
told me that a perfect pair is so hard to find
The olive branch from the dove
says the storm is over
wait until you share my love
whoa whoa
whoa whoa
