Story Behind The Song
I like the verse and decided to write a song about it.
Song Description
Based on my favorite Bible verse, this is the first electric Sunny Jim Curtiss song. It's kind of a garage rock thing, although technically it wasn't recorded in a garage. The lyrics are meant to be meditative and half-introspective.

Lyrics
Love
Is a burning bridge
I'm tough
But I'm sick of it
So you
Can keep your lies
I'm going to the river on a Saturday night.
Faith
is a concrete room
A vague
Sense of pending doom
No doors
But danger ahead
I'm going to the river don't you wish I was dead?
Chorus:
And you're not the one
I was thinking of
But if I had to choose
The greatest of these
It'd have to be love.
Hope
Is a dreadful weight
It'll drag you down
They'll call it fate
So you
Can live your lie
The river's on fire in the pale moonlight
God
is a funny thing
Even
If you don't believe
He'll crawl
Inside your head
Sit there laughin' till you wish you was dead.
Chorus
