Story Behind The Song
Bullied by my supervisor off and on for years.
Song Description
There have been and always will be bullies among us. Though physical bullying is painful, the emotional pain that results from verbal abuse is traumatic.
This song addresses the subject from the verbal barrage that comes from bullies: the lies, the slander, the insults, the put downs, in the home, at school, online, and at your place of employment.

Lyrics
Bully. (song lyrics)
(music)
(background singing)
Sticks and stones can break my bones but words.
(repeat)
ANNOUNCER: I know you, in your Doc Martens.
You think words make you large.
You target those who appear to be weak.
You say words like, "you're fat, you're stupid, you're worthless."
Will those words make you large?
(verses)
Words in your heart are the motive for you.
Words on your lips are the weapons you choose.
Pushing, and shoving, and hitting it's true,
are just part of the tools you use.
You're a bully.
(repeat)
ANNOUNCER: Missy Priss, narcissist, nephilim, Napoleon.
behind me, tapping the clipboard. I wonder . . . C'mon.
(verse)
Can you change your view with the golden rule?
(repeat)
(verses)
The words, the words are used to control.
Dripping with venom, they take their toll.
Louder and louder, you draw a crowd.
Closer and closer, your whispers are loud.
You're a bully.
(repeat)
Sticks and stones can break my bones but words.
(repeat)
ANNOUNCER: I know you. Words make you small.
Ankle biter. Do hurt, Bully.
The end.
