Story Behind The Song
This song has been around for sometime, but has only just been available to be recorded by others. When I play live and sing this song, it gets a tremendous reaction. The song took about 10 minutes to write and is still one of my favourites.
Song Description
When we part from someone we always tend to find a crutch, this song typifiies that kind of need. We all find something that helps us through and this song details that need for wanting to be with that person, but realising that it just wont happen, and finding comfort in the radio and their old song.

Lyrics
Our Old Song
Written by: Stu Whisson
Verse 1
When your asleep
Lying in bed
Do you see me
Or demons instead
Dreamin? alone
Heart lost and died
Feeling the truth, it
Hurts cause we lied
Chorus
But I?m not along
Cause I?ve got the radio on
And it?s playin?
Our old song
Verse 2
Torn up inside
Feeling subsides
Pictures of you lay
Down by my side
Poison words spilled
Should never have said
Two souls collide
And love left for dead
Chorus x 1
If you see me
Crying inside
Just walk away
Or shield your eyes
No words can mend
The scars on my heart
Cause love may heal the loney
But it?s tearing me apart
Chorus x 2
