Story Behind the Song

Know how individuals need interventions? Well, this world is in need of a Supernatural intervention. There is no cure in this reality for what ails this world. We need Someone from a different world... a different reality... to intervene. The clock is ticking. The end is getting so much closer. We all know this, like birds who know to migrate south for the winter. It's instinctual. Hope to see you on the other side.

Lyrics

"Yea though I walk through
The Valley of the Shadow of Death
I will fear no Evil
For Thou Art With Me"
(Ps 23:4)

VERSE 1:
Monkey see Monkey do
Be ye Gentile, be ye Jew
No one hears the words
Just the emotions

They hate the truth
But like the prose
Dosi wakey, Dosi doze
Juxtaposition exposed
In devotions

CHORUS:
One foot
In front of the other
Post-apocalyptic
Sister and brother
Wake us up from the undead
Their light is now our dark instead
How do we escape this dread?
How do we escape this dread?

VERSE 2:
Logic is what logic does
No I'll do this just because
Look at you, you're just as lost
In your grandstandings

Here it comes marching in
Theatre with free admission
There's no lies
Just misunderstandings

CHORUS:
One foot
In front of the other
Post-apocalyptic
Sister and brother
Wake us up from the undead
Their light is now our dark instead
How do we escape this dread?
How do we escape this dread?

VERSE 3:
Words won't wake up the undead
The dream's alive
But faith is dead
They don't care what you just said
It's not comparative

You think you're well
When we're all sick
Say it once, then stop your shtick
You can suck a zombie dick
With that narrative

CHORUS:
One foot
In front of the other
Post-apocalyptic
Sister and brother
Wake us up from the undead
Their light is now our dark instead
How do we escape this dread?
How do we escape this dread?

LAST VERSE:
In and out Round about
Brain cells line up to checkout
Fake your smile while I just pout
About the end days

CHORUS:
One foot
In front of the other
Post-apocalyptic
Sister and brother
Wake us up from the undead
Their light is now our dark instead
How do we escape this dread?
How do we escape this dread?
