Story Behind The Song

As I've been reading the history of jazz, I've attempted to write formula-driven musical simulations influenced not so much by elements of jazz as by the events (real or imagined) that brought those elements into being. The result may or may not sound like jazz, and that's OK with me. In the process of creating this song, some of the interdependent feedback loops between voices crashed my computer, hence the name 'Overload'.
