Story Behind The Song

There are two version to this merry Christmas song I wrote the original in spring 2017. Titled 'When the Robin Starts a Bobbin' by Kaila Ray. There were red breasted robins nesting close by and the parents would bob up and down on the fence in anticipation of flying up to the nest above. I would watch them darting up and down on to the fence looking around nervously as there was a small brown fox that kept its eye on the comings and goings of the robins it came frequently to the garden but the robins stayed safe through to the next season in Spring 2018. I decided this year 2018 to release the song as an instrumental version 'Santa's Sleigh Ride' because of the various bell sounds in the track it reminded me of Santa's sleigh bells coming across the sky. The song has a crescendo finish in third verse starting 2:07 mins

Song Description

The song has a layer of bell sounds that remind me of sleigh bells, I chose the title 'Santa's Sleigh Ride' The song has a traditional feel to it with the use of various bell sounds using a bell tree, to jingle bells and electronic bell sounds; to emphasise Santa coming across the sky at night.
