Lyrics
VERSE
I rode the bus into town to catch the train
I already knew which way to go
Never before have I felt such pain
You have taken the only life I know
VERSE
Staring out the window with each passing mile
It's as though I'm traversing another world
I see your face in the glass once in a while
A woman now; yesterday a girl
PRE-CHORUS
I may have lost all my senses
But I will follow you to the end
Way on past where the west commences
I'll look for you beyond every bend
CHORUS
The days are long, and the nights are chilled
But I don't care as long as we're apart
When I get to San Francisco, I won't be standing still
I'll turn around; it will be a good place to start
BRIDGE
I'm gonna find you if it takes the rest of time
That's how much I love you
SOLO/Repeat PRE-CHORUS/Repeat CHORUS/TAG
I'll turn around; it will be a good place to start
