My Grandmother died suddenly due to an illness, thing was she only needed a blood transfusion but my aunt, a jahovas witness, didn't call me for fear of me intervening and demanding the transfusion. So she died over two or three days while I unknowingly sat a couple miles away while she died. No goodbye no last hug no inspirational last words. Just death.
