Lyrics

'GILES' ( I've heard it all before)
LIVELY
D A7
1) I've heard it all before Giles, and it's nothing new to me,
D
To hear you moan and whine about your life of poverty,
G
If you think your badly done to, you want to (hmm) come and live
with me,
A A7 D
'Cos when it comes to nothingness, i am authority.

2) I've listened to your stories, of how you never make ends meet,
Of how you can't afford to buy the leather on your feet,
But when it comes to holidays, your the first there in the queue,
And I'd be right there with you Giles if i earned as much as you.

3)Well every day's a milestone, that hangs around your neck,
If it wasn't for your specialist, well you'd be a nervous wreck,
In fact if things don't look up soon you're going to have to flog your hat,
I wish that I had half a quid for each time I'd heard that.

4) Well i know that I'm the quiet type and you think that i don't see,
Through the false impressions, through your hypocrisy,
But one day right will come to right and maybe it will be,
All right for you to go without and be some there for me.

5)
Well I've heard it all before Giles, it's nothing new to me,
to hear you moan and whine about your life of poverty,
If you think your badly done to, you want to come and live with me,
Cos when it comes to nothingness, i am authority,
A A7 D G D
Yes when it comes to nothingness, i am authoritee eeee eeee.
