Story Behind The Song
While the song itself seems and sounds "happy" enough,it's really about a girl named Jess, who had dated me for two weeks,She knew that I had really liked her,and we were good friends.I guess she figured the only way to get me to stop pursuing her,was to say we were "together" for two weeks, which at the time, two weeks may seem like a long time, but it's not.The title Me Said I,was actually mentioned by a friend of mine named Don while we were working together at a restaurant. We were talking about how weird song titles were, and I just happened to mention The Beatles'...Love Me Do..then Don came up with Me Said I,which I loved alot, and decided to write a song about that strange song title.
Song Description
A happy feeling song, seemed to be written in the early Beatles hey-day.I've had many positive comments on this one for over ten years now,and it's still going strong.

Lyrics
In a room of crowded people
She's the only one
Should I try or keep on going?
Maybe just for fun
Two weeks may seem like a long time
If I can have a clue
And if you are all still listening,then..
Me Said I love her
Me Said I love her
Me Said I just don't make sense
So Me Said I love her
You love I Said Me So
If I can have a clue
And if you are all still listening
As if you ever do
Just sit down and I'll say
That Me Said I love her
Me Said I love her
Me Said I (I am)
Me Said I (I am)
Me Said I (I am)
Me Said I (I am)
Me Said I (I am)
Me Said I
Me Said I just don't make sense
So Me Said I love her
You love I Said Me So
If I can have a clue
And if you are all still listening
Broke my heart in two
Just sit down and I'll say
That Me Said I love her
Me Said I loved her
Me Said I loved her
Me said I loved her...No,no,no...
