Dark Clouds
Sharlene Ayestaran/Phantom Roc Music Co. (ASCAP) 2006
[Verse 1]
It ain?t no thing when it disappears
It ain?t no thing but a rabbit?s ear
But things got better when we said good-byes
Things came alive before our eyes
Dogs stayed alive and things never died
Things changed but we stayed alive
[Chorus]
Dark Clouds on the Mountain, but it never rained
Dark Clouds on the Mountain, but it never rained
[Verse 2}
Every time I?m runnin? in, I?m runnin? out, there ain?t no doubt
Nothing?s ever gonna change my ways
These bad boys are beaten at the poker meetin', low down cheatin?
Can?t stop the sun from shinin? in
[Chorus]
Things were good, things were bad,
But we were never sad, we had dear ol' dad, dear ol' dad
Things were good, things were bad,
But we were never sad, we had dear ol' dad, dear ol' dad
[Chorus] X3
