When I watch movies of Marilyn Monroe, I want to reach through the screen and tell her that I love the way she moves and everything else about her but I can't and one day I'm going to meet a girl that will have the same effect. Song Description
A man has the loveliest of intentions for the girl of his dreams and describes her as if she is "just like the movies". This almost unattainable love becomes real when he sees her dancing but then can't approach her, the same way you fall in love with someone on the movie screen but can't quite tell her. He gets her at the end and lets her know that even now she's too beautiful to be real and he is constatnly entertained by her, just like the movies.
