Fiona's Breakdown

Story Behind The Song

On the way from Quebec to Woodstock for a recording session, my 96 Toyota Camry broke down on I-87 in the Adirondacks, leaving two fiddlers to take a giant rented Ford F-150 Quad-cab to the studio for the day's recording!

Song Description

A tune inspired by an ailing Toyota and it's inability to get to recording sessions. Every time a recording session was scheduled, the car would seemingly throw a mechanical fit. Also a play on words, since a fast fiddle tune can be known as a "breakdown".
