Pack Up Your Pictures (accoustic version)

Story Behind The Song

It's funny how in life we all want the fairytale life. But in the fairytale life, we don't really know their reality because we assume that it's ideal. This song reveals my interpretation of a "modern day Fairytale story," but revealing the truth that lies underneath that most fail to see. What is real vs. what is fantasy etc...

Lyrics

Pack Up Your Pictures

Snowwhite lived deep in the woods far outa sight as anyone could be
Her sweet dwarves went to the town then she ate an apple, fell to the ground
Waiting for her Prince to come, she secretly awakened but slept for fun
She wanted her Prince, she wanted her man
But Princes are players and do all that they can

Girl, Pack Up Your Pictures. He ain?t never comin? back
Better save that red lipstick for some other jack, yes
Pack Up Your Pictures he ain?t never comin? home
Do ya really wanna stay here just to be left alone?

Sleeping Beauty lived next door; Snowwhite and she were friends before
They both stepped out and stripped their lives
?Cause their Princes couldn?t handle only having one wife
Well, one fine day in the month of May these two women said
?Why should we stay?? They left their quarters; they left their men and said,
?Don?t think I?ll ever see you again!?

?Cause I?m Packin? Up My Pictures,? I ain?t never comin? back
Gonna save that red lipstick for some other Jack, yes
I?m Packin? Up My Pictures and I?m never coming home
Why should I want to stay here just to be left alone??

?Don?t even say that it?s not fair.
I?m not the one who didn?t care.
It?s your fault you drove me away
You can?t expect a heart aches Princess to stay!

So these two girls went on their way and gathered some others that very same day
First Cinderella who was just betrayed, by her newlywed husband
With another got laid
They hopped on their horses and suddenly stopped
By a wooden boy, whose heart was knocked
?Cause he told his Father that he was gay and his Daddy said, ?Pinocchio, go away!?

So he Packed Up His Pictures and headed on his way
And joined his new sisters who had just good things to say
Yes, they packed Up Their Pictures and headed towards the sun
To begin new adventures with the world; with everyone

Hi ho, hi ho, get outa here let?s go! Hi Ho, hi ho, it?s off to some place better
Hi ho, hi ho, we?re outa here let?s go! Hi ho, hi ho, we?re off to someplace better
Hi ho, hi ho, outa here let?s go! Hi ho, ho, it?s off to someplace better
Hi ho, hi ho, outa here let?s go! Hi ho, hi ho, outa here let?s go!
