Song Description

No matter where we are in the world everyone is looking at the same stars

Story Behind the Song

I wrote this song in Cuba shortly after my father had died. There were so many bright stars in the sky and I thought of my dad that no matter where we are we are all looking at the same stars.

Lyrics

We look at the same stars when we look to the sky we all have answers we all need to find somewhere someones dying somewhere a child's crying we look at the same stars in the sky
Where ever you are in the world we look at the same stars to be heard we all are trying to find what we need when the soars open we all need to bleed
Cause I know a thing or two about what life means things aren't really what they seem
And when we feel lonely and life has got us down we look at the same stars from the ground we may have different views but we are all confused we may have toubles of our own we look at the same stars to guide us home
Cause I know a thing or two about what life means Things aren't really what they seem
Somewhere someones dying somewhere a child crying we look at the same stars in the sky
Where ever you are in the world we look at the same stars to be heard we all are trying to find what we need when the soars open we all need to bleed
