Story Behind The Song
After my daughter spent 3 months in traction from breaking her thigh and 1 month in a body-cast, at the age of 9, she had forgotten how to walk. I knew I had to be tough and force her to walk without help from a wheelchair if her leg muscles where ever to become strong again. I wrote the song after asking her one day to "Put your hand in the hand of Jesus.....He won't let you down."
