Story Behind The Song
I wrote the first two verses of the song not knowing why these sad words were coming to me. A year later, my mother died, and I wrote the last verse that evening contemplating that painful loss. As I remembered her, I felt that she was alive inside of me, and the verse really wrote itself.
Song Description
Death or permanent leaving causes sadness. A question is pondered, will the departing person be remembered. This song answers the question with a "yes", as thinking of someone puts that someone inside the thinker. The person will live on eternally in thoughts.

Lyrics
Will You Remember Me?
If I should go away, will you remember me?
Life is a great big change, ships in an endless sea.
I need to know in my heart that you will remember me.
And I will always be inside of you.
I?ve learned a thing or two, about how love carries on.
When I remember you, you?re truly inside of me.
How can I let you go, when you?re so close to me?
I need to always be inside of you.
And now the time has come, I need to go away.
How can you let me go? How can you make me stay?
When you remember me, I?m truly inside of you.
I know I?ll always be inside of you.
