Song Description
After the death 2 very close people, Ruger's friend Taylor and Eli's uncle in Mexico, Eli told Ruger of a song he had made the day he heard the news of his uncle's death. Ruger, still in shook from his lose, felt he needed to write a song dedicated to Taylor, father of his cousin's son, and ask the Lord to please take him in although his death was self-inflicted. The result was the song Dear Lord,...which during the chorus asks the question, "Dear Lord,...can you still hear me callin' out? I wonder if you're gonna help my dog that's fallin' down?"
