Story Behind The Song
I wrote this song for my mother who is a four time cancer survivor-cervix, breast, colon and lungs. The fourth time around, I new she needed something but I had nothing but my heart and this song to give her. I too was bedridden at the time. Actually, I wrote this song for the both of us. We went to "(At) the River" together and we were both healed.

Lyrics
Come on and lay down by the River
Lay your head and rest
It?s time for you to be blessed
At The River
At the River there is a healing for you
You don?t have to hurt anymore
You don?t have to cry anymore
Where The River runs deep, The River runs deep, The River runs deep
At the River
I wrap you in a long white robe of tranquility
And I?ll mend you heart
If you?d just come with me
To The River
I?ll take you where peaceful waters forever flows
In the wind the meadow?s flowers blow
And love forever grows
Where The River runs deep, The River runs deep, The River runs deep
At the River
I?ll take you where green grass forever grows
In the wind the meadow?s flowers blow
And love forever grows
Where The River runs deep, The River runs deep, The River runs deep
At the River
Someday
He?s going to set the wrong things right
He?s going to turn the day from night
And we shall be changed in a twinkling of an I
It?s gonna be Someday
Just read the signs when the stars cry
When the moon refuses to shine
And darkness is throughout the land
And love has been denied
It?s gonna be Someday
He?s coming back as pure gold
Just read your Bible the prophets told you so
He?s coming in His majesty
Don?t you know
It?s gonna be Someday
