Story Behind The Song

This is just a playful song that I wanted to have a lot of movement, whether that be with the underlying chords, the bass, or the overdubs. I was also inspired by the simplicity of older style drumming, whereby you treat the kit like an instrument and not just something to keep time.

An upbeat acoustic based folk/pop song with slide guitar. It has a very quirky, bouncy feel to it and really opens up in the bridges.
