Story Behind The Song
The actual title "He Stands Like a Mountain" is inspired by a book I read in college. I thought about the song the whole time I was reading it. Trying to think of the stereotypes just comes from watching old movies or old sitcoms.
Song Description
He Stands Like a Mountain is a song that toils with the stereotypes that are given to men and women, most in the early 1900's. It talks about the man being tall and strong, also the leader of the two. This song features things that I really enjoy in a song. There are some great keys solo, and some great pop horns, with a fun rough riff to it.

Lyrics
His eyes are as red as the sun
As his glare is solid steel
She sits like a lady
And wonders what to feel
He stands like a mountain
Broad tall and strong
She sits like a lady
Never to be wronged
Sticks and Stones can break his bones
While words can bring her down
He stands like a mountain
While she's sitting on the ground
He smokes a pack a day
Without a single care
She sits like a women
But her heart if feels bare
