Lyrics

Smoke is curling up upon the hill

Whistling its way into the clouds

Rescuing dreams long forgotten

Like the never ending river

The never ending song

Life is a river

Unwinding before our eyes

Not knowing which way it might turn

Holding on to love's lost dream

Like the never ending river

The never ending song

July 2008 (c) Rob Byron

The instrumentation is clear, well-defined and well-positioned in the stereo field.

song starts off strong but not overpowering - keeps one listening. voice works well with the song. drums provide a support in feel - not just tempo. a first I thought there was too much mid but as the song progresses it becomes natural for the feel.
