The song was a Valentines day gift to my wife in 2009. We have been experimenting to give it the right production, and this is the closest thus far.

The song looks at desire and love through all of the senses. It reflects the need to sacrifice large elements of self in order to fully experience the depths of love. Ultimately the song is about risk and sacrifice in the desire of greater experience and meaning.
