Computer Love.

Story Behind The Song

I have experienced computer dating and spoken to others. I believe my song sums up the emotions, the highs, lows and fun and the strange world you enter when looking for love over the internet and I times I felt as though my computer was the one II was speaking too. Its just a surreal world which millions now enter into. The lyrics say it all.

Song Description

Original lyrics written by me in 2009 after experiencing the internet and various sites. I believe millions will empathise with the lyrics as sometimes it feels as though the relationship is between the computer and yourself. It could be interpreted in different ways and at times it may feel as though the computer is the thing in which the user is falling in love with. It can be seen as funny, sad or tragic. Its lyrics, I thgink would suit varying interpretations.

Lyrics

COMPUTER LOVE.

VERSE 1.
It was attraction, the very first time.
A relationship so hard to rhyme.
You were networked; I was single.
When I was near, you made me tingle.

VERSE 2.
You looked so lonely. I was free.
We were trapped, by destiny.
There was no way, that I could say,
"will you go out, with me one day?"

VERSE 3.
We can not be, together right now.
Perhaps one day, we'll do it somehow.
The years, the glances, passed us by.
Two caged birds that need to fly

CHORUS.
Not much chance, to meet or talk.
To hold hands; or go for a walk.
To wake each other, with our smiles.
Computer love; words across miles.

VERSE 4.
I miss you so, you'll never know.
And we still need, our love to grow.
E-mail-ing; technology's dove.
Help us Heavenly Father above.

VERSE 5.
Send, retrieve, and then delete.
Will we ever be complete?
My love for you, forever will be.
Until the end, of eternity.

VERSE 6.
Computer love, so many hours;
Forwarding, more virtual flowers.
I am so tired, of tapping keys,
God help me please, I'm on my knees.

CHORUS.
Not much chance, to meet or talk.
To hold hands; or go for a walk.
To wake each other, with our smiles.
Computer love; words across miles.

Verse 7.
Not much time; fate can be mean.
Gazing lovingly, into the screen;
I fear sometimes, that it may crash.
'So here's a quickie. Sorry, must dash.'

Verse 8.
Sat in my chair, at you I stare.
I dream of you, and wish 'We were.'
You make my life so very bright.
Thinking of the things to write.

Verse 9.
Oh dear Lord, please keep us strong.
What we're doing can not be wrong.
One day I hope, that you'll say yes.
This situation, seems such a mess.

BRIDGE
I pray one day that He'll be kind,
For I cant get you, off my mind.
To see you in a wedding dress.
'Oops, I've really got to go; God bless.'

Chorus (repeat).
Not much chance, to meet or talk.
To hold hands; or go for a walk.
To wake each other, with our smiles.
Computer love; words across miles.
